The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has prompted that the annual Craft Village Fair 2011 is very likely to take place in , from December 29th 2011 to January 3rd 2012. This also prepares for the official Da Lat Flower Festival 2012, which is also held at the province at the beginning of 2012.
Crafts from various regions and communities in Vietnam are on exhibit for the occasion. They include the most beautifully crafted products made from ceramic, woods, fabric, bamboo and flowers.
This is an ideal time for craftsmen and craft villages all over Vietnam to introduce to others their products, and also to approach potential new markets. Additionally, organizers hope to raise the awareness to conserve traditional features of Vietnam’s culture, especially in craft.

Craft Village Fair is a yearly event that is put together by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in association with local authorities. The event is not only an expo for crafts in Vietnam, but also a place for foreigners to learn more about the unique elements of different communities in the country. Last fair in Dong Nai was a great success with the participation of 150 different units from various craft villages all over Vietnam.
Vietnam currently boasts dozens of traditional craft villages which have preserved their products in various types such as bamboo, ceramic, wood, food and bronze. They are located in different areas, but can often be found in the Red River Delta, Tay Nguyen and Mekong Delta.
