International Tourism Expo 2011 to be held in HCMC

The in Vietnam is planning to organize the International Tourism Expo 2011 in (ITE HCMC 2011) with the theme “Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam – Four countries, one rendezvous.” The expo will be held at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center - 799 Nguyen Van Linh, District 7.

There will be many activities taking place during the fair in September:

September 13: Recommended Destinations for Buyers conference and Vietnam Gala Dinner
September 14 - 17: International Tourism Expo
September 15: Experience in Approaching Major Markets for sellers
September 12 - 20: Buyers and Media program

According to the organizing committee, the purposes of ITE HCMC 2011 are not only to attract 'buyers' representing travel agents from the North America market (U.S., ), Europe (, , , Russia), Oceania (), North East Asia (Japan, South Korea, China), South Asia (India), Nordic (, Sweden, Finland) and ASEAN (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines) but also to attract the participation of mass media agencies, including 15 international media representatives from America, Europe, Middle East, ASEAN, Australia as well as approximately 300 booths from both domestic and international sellers.

Many activities in this series of events are open to the public. Travel agencies interested in attending the conference or booking a stand can register by visiting the official of the expo.

Visa information:

* Visitors from East Asia (Japan, South Korea) or Nordic countries (Denmark, Sweden, Finland) are allowed to remain in Vietnam for 15 days without a visa.
* Visitors from Southeast Asian countries are allowed to remain in Vietnam for 30 days without a visa.
