A New Way to travel between HCMC and Mui Ne

Vietnam Air Service Company (VASCO) – a helicopter service provider - along with Sea Links City – Amitour has successfully launched a trial flight from to on the morning of June 11th and back to Ho Chi Minh City on the morning of the following day, June 12th. Mui Ne sits on the coastal province of Binh Thuan and famous for its wild beach and sand dunes. In recent years, Mui Ne has been growing in popularity for beach holiday option, as well as a place where one can learn water sports.

The taking off – landing destination in Ho Chi Minh City is and at Mui Ne is a heliport from which is 9km from Phan Thiet city center. The helicopter used is the brand new AS350-B2, a product from Eurocopter (France). The helicopter has six seats with the capacity of 1.100kg.

This new flight provides travelers a new alternative for travelling by cars and - Phan Thiet and vice versa. The travelling time for one way between Ho Chi Minh City and Mui Ne is only 40 minutes, compared to 4 - 5 hours of conventional .
