According to Quang Nam authorities, the province’s governance has approved a new campaign to conserve and protect tourism value of Cam Thanh Village – a potential destination for eco-tourism in. 162 billion VND used for the project is funded from the provincial budget.
The campaign focuses on tracking and examining current tourism value of the destination, including natural attractions as well as historical relics. Moreover, based on the result of the examination, reservation method is being proposed and applied.
Ecotourism Tour along the seven hectare coconut forest
At present, Cam Thanh has been known as seven hectare coconut forest – a small model of Southern land inside Hoi An. The site is also attached with the two honorable wars against French and American invaders. Cam Thanh has been developed to be an ecotourism center lying within the complex of Cu Lao Cham, with its motto being an environmentally friendly destination.
Quang Nam province is acting massively to conserve various tourism destinations in this province such as Hoi An, My Son and Cam Thanh.
