At the end of 2011, two art exhibitions are to be hosted by two well-known ancient houses in . The first one is souvenir exhibition at 46 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street. This expo shows 29 works which are created from fresh materials like woods and bamboo by final contestants in souvenir making competition in Hoi An. The prize will be awarded on December 4 at the same place, in conjunction with the ceremony to celebrate the 12th year of Hoi An being recognized as a World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO.
Another exhibition is held from now to February 2012 at 39 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street where about 100 masterpieces of contemporary art, including statues, graved stones or carpets are open for public enjoyment.

Ancient houses in Hoi An
